WELCOME TO THE FIRST LADD’S LANDING MARINA NEWSLETTER IN 2009!

Look for a newsletter at the beginning of each month, May thru October, every 2 months in the off-season. 


And welcome to the new website - it’s still under construction so please let us know what else you’d like to see on these pages.


GENERAL INFO

  1. •SLIP RESERVATIONS FOR 2009 - Just a reminder, final payments are due April 1.  (Deposit on 1/1/09, half of balance on 2/2/09, 2nd half of balance on 4/1/09).


  3. •SHRINKWRAP RECYCLING PROGRAM -  This spring we will again be providing shrinkwrap recycling bags.  If you’re removing the wrap yourself, recycling is simple.  Just cut away the belly-bands and other strapping before removing the wrap (strapping goes in the garbage dumpster), cut off the wrap and then stuff it into the recycling bag.  Don’t forget to name-label and number your framing, bow to stern - it really helps in the fall to avoid pick-up-sticks in the framing rack.

It has been a terrific 2nd year at the marina for us, and we’d like to thank you all again for your support and friendship.  We can’t wait to see you this spring!

  1. •FREE WIFI - WIFI will be available for the 2009 summer season.


  3. •DROP EVERYTHING AND SAIL!  We’re hoping to start an informal Tuesday or Wednesday night sailing group this summer.  We’ll also be gathering names for an AVAILABLE CREW list, for those hoping to sail more often but who need another set of hands or a boat to sail on.  Stop in to find out more if you’re interested.


  1. •FLOAT PLAN BOARD - Please take a moment before you cast off to leave your float plan (who, where, time out and time/date expected back, mobile #, etc.) on the board.
